Health Examination Notice

Examination Date
October 20 (Monday) and October 21 (Tuesday), 2025, from 7:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.

Examination Venue
Feng Chia University Gymnasium (Main Hall).

General Health Examination Fee
NT$550 per person.
(Includes Carcinoembryonic Antigen [CEA] test: screening for colorectal, pancreatic, lung, gastric, and liver cancers, as well as for smoking-related risks.)

Subsidy Eligibility for General Health Examination
(Participants who meet both of the following conditions are exempt from payment on site.):

Current full-time faculty and staff members.

Length of service:

Aged 65 or above: Eligible once per year with at least one year of service.

Aged 40–64: Eligible once every three years with at least three years of service.

Under 40: Eligible once every five years with at least five years of service.

The subsidy does not cover dependents of faculty and staff, new employees, adjunct faculty, members of the Retirees’ Association, MOST research assistants, personnel from self-funded centers such as the GIS Center, staff of public/private funded projects, or assistants under the “Enhancing Employment through Nurturing Quality Human Resources” program (Code: PJ). Participants who do not meet the subsidy criteria are required to pay NT$550 in cash.

Supervisors may register for this examination and additional optional items. For details regarding subsidies, please contact Ms. Hsu, Chia-Chun at the Office of Human Resources (Ext. 2069).

The “Supervisor Package” is also available for non-supervisory staff. For those who select this package, Tung’s Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital will arrange the examination schedule at the hospital.

Newly employed staff members who have not yet submitted their physical examination report are required to participate at their own expense.
